Account Manager

Full-Time / Remote (US)

Rival Digital is a rapidly growing full-service digital marketing agency for HVAC contractors. We offer Website Design, Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Online Advertising, and Social Media. We are currently looking for a full-time Account Manager to join our fast-paced, data driven team.

As an account manager, you are responsible for managing the relationships with named clients. The bottom line function for this position is to retain our customers and ensure the transition of clients from satisfied to thrilled.

Account Manager Responsibilities

  • Be the main point of contact between clients and the operations team.
  • Be knowledgeable of the duties of the operations team to effectively answer client questions.
  • Build trusting relationships with clients throughout the lifespan of their engagements.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of our services. When appropriate, this could lead to upsell and cross-selling opportunities.
  • Identify outstanding items needed by the operations team and communicate such items to the client.
  • Review client requests and add those to the project management system for operations to complete.
  • Frequently call our clients to ensure that they are satisfied with their current services.
  • Identify areas of improvement for clients’ accounts (cross-sell/upsell opportunities for new services or adjustment of current services)
  • Compile analytics reports, interpret data, and send to clients on a monthly basis

Account Manager Requirements

  • Desire to help clients achieve their goals and grow their business.
  • A bachelor’s degree in marketing, communication, or a related field.
  • At 1-3 years of experience as an account manager, or a similar role (preferred, but not required).
  • Excellent knowledge of digital marketing best practices, marketing strategies, and social media management.
  • Familiarity with social media and digital platforms, such as Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, email marketing, and TikTok.
  • Proficiency in tools, such as HootSuite, HubSpot, Google Business Profile, and Google Analytics.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Solid organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability and desire to learn new things.
